Had enough? Okay, try some of these other links to artists I know, artists I like, and sites I find entertaining: Friends and Colleagues (alphabetical)
Amy Denio -- Multitalented songwriter and instrumentalist from Seattle, specializing in the unusual.
Andy Horwitz -- New York performance artist and writer for Nerve.com. His site is full of great stuff, so peruse away.
Antero Alli -- Filmmaker and ritual-performance creator, whose singular vision, coupled with those of his wife Sylvi Alli, have won him a cult following all over the world.
Basil Hennely -- A talented singer from Chicago, who I met at PeaceOUT 2004 in Oakland.
Big City Orchestra -- My friend Nina, Web designer, performance artist, and all-around cool person, makes music with her main squeeze dAS and other band members. See about their touring and other stuff right here.
Frank Moore -- Performance artist from Berkeley who brings a sense of ritual to his work; does not talk, but uses a pointer and psychedelic board to convey his ideas; runs LUVeR, a Web-based radio station.
Ian Philips -- Genre-bending author and Suspect Thoughts Press "mamabear." Oh, and a real cutiepie for you bear-lovin' folks.
Jim Tushinski -- Yep, another pal of mine, a filmmaker and fiction writer with original takes on storytelling. Take a look at Jim's site and find out where his next reading or film presentation will be!
Jon Wai-keung Lowe -- Theater director and master set designer, Jon helms The Visible Theater in Berkeley.
Johnny Dangerous -- This guy, who I also met at PeaceOUT 2004, is sweet and damn cute in real life...but on stage, watch out, he is downright nasty (though in the best possible way). He is the self-proclaimed "homo hip-hop head of controversy."
Julienne Givot -- Oakland-based photographer and multimedia artist who specializes in the unusual, the conceptual, and the beautiful.
Justin Chin -- San Francisco performance artist and author of the books Bite Hard, Mongrel, and Harmless Medicine Biting, hilarious, and, at times, not for the squeamish....
Kirk Read -- No relation...he is a writer and performer who, with Larry-bob, hosts a number of hot and lively performance venues around San Francisco.
Larry-bob -- The publisher of Holy Titclamps, who organizes and emcees many queer events around San Francisco.
Marshall Moore -- Sardonic writer with many books and short stories to his name.
Rachel Kramer Bussel -- Erotic writer, columnist, and New York denizen--check out her site.
Ray Ferrer -- As deposed Cuban spitfire Coco Lopez, Ray tears up the stage with his witty and high-energy observations on American life.
Ric Masten -- In his words, he is a "stand-up poet, a teller of tales." Check out the stylings of this Monterey-area poet.
soce -- Elemental wizardry online! Pronounced "so-say," this NYC-based homohop artist will enthrall you with his beats and his contagious enthusiasm.
Spike00 -- Spike organizes events of all kinds in San Francisco and all over the globe, so check one of his sites (reachable from this link) for his latest projects.
The Deep Dickollective -- A queer pomo performance-poetry hip-hop group that must be seen to be believed! Mixing elements of rap and spoken-word in a totally original way, they deconstruct many myths around hip-hop and queer culture.
The Performance Poetry Site -- Billy Marshall Stoneking explores the roots of the art form. Check it out!
Tristan Taormino -- She has elevated Anal Sex For Women to an art form. Sexual revolutionary and hot babe Tristan is one part porn star and two parts performance artist. Take a look inside....

    Folks I Admire (also alphabetical)
Ana Mendieta -- This is a site about the late performance artist Ana Mendieta, whose various-media works about the body's relationship to nature I find fascinating.
Annie Sprinkle -- Ex-porn-star-turned-performance-artist, specializing in work about the body and women's roles as sexual beings. She wrote Post Porn Modernist.
Beth Lisick -- San Francisco performance artist and writer who wrote a book called Monkey Girl; she performed with the Beth Lisick Ordeal all over the place and now has a new book out.
Daniel Clowes -- Cartoonist extraordinaire who penned the eerie and brilliant Eightball series for Fantagraphics Comics.
Diamanda Galás -- Her vocal acrobatics clearly evoke the fear and desperation of people with AIDS and all people in existential torment. Not for people who want "pop music lite!" Mute's site on her is also good.
Fluid Movement -- A Baltimore-based performance art group that juxtaposes complex subject matter about city life with delightful and unexpected mediums--making for accessible, and often educational, results.
Guillermo Gomez-Peña -- If you haven't caught "Temple of Confessions," run-don't-walk to this site and see how he makes beautiful and thought-provoking work around the subject of living as a Mexican-American in the U.S.
Hedda Lettuce -- Funny and fierce gender illusionist and comedienne whose hilarious variety show airs weekly on Manhattan public access.
Hedwig and the Angry Inch -- Fabulous and touching rock-n-roll opera about an East German transgendered person and her rise and fall in show biz. First a play, and now a movie!
Jill Nagle -- Writer and provocateur--check out her writings.
Karen Finley -- The loudest and most risk-taking performance artist to get widespread attention in America (c.f. the "yams" performance and her battle with the Supreme Court over obscene art). This page was part of a project she did through a 976 number.
Laurie Anderson -- Well, this is the official site for the queen of American performance art.
Marga Gomez -- Talented Latina comedienne and actress.
Maurice Vellekoop -- Fun and provocative cartoonist who wrote two of my favorite books, Vellevision and Maurice Vellekoop's ABC Book: A Homoerotic Primer.

Y'All -- Campy country from the writers of "My Man, Our Horses, And Me."

    Other Stuff
ABBA -- No, ABBA may not have been performance artists, but their work with melody, electronics, and polyester qualify them as something avant garde to the culture at large.
ARTelevision.com -- Lots to see and do in this online art magazine -- check it out!
ArtsFusion -- Lively online arts magazine, with articles and connections to artists in various media.
Charlie's Angels -- "NA-na-NAAH! Na-NA-na-NAH-na-NAAAH!" C'mon everybody! Sing the theme song with me! Enough hair, boobs, and guns to keep any drag queen (or straight man) happy.
