Quite simply, I wanted to document the turn of the century (well, the turn from 1999 to 2000, which many would say is not the turn of the century) in my own way, here in San Francisco. I took a picture each day and wrote text to go with it. I took all of the pictures here in San Francisco, often indoors at my computer. A lot of these photos are photos of the Web itself. This is what was going on with me as the year turned around. It's also a little bit about San Francisco these days, for those who don't live here.
